Panettone is a classic Italian Christmas cake. Sweet bread studded with candied fruits, currants, and sultanas.
It’s common for Italians to serve after dinner on Christmas Day with sweet wine, still or sparkling. Of course if you prefer a good espresso or cup of tea will also do the trick!
